AuthNull Authenticator (Coming Soon)
The AuthNull Authenticator is AuthNull's own mobile app for approving push requests. It is not released yet.
Use Duo Security or Okta Verify for now
Until the app is available, set your MFA provider to Duo Security or Okta Verify under Settings → MFA Provider. Users then approve pushes in Duo Mobile or Okta Verify, and no device registration is needed in AuthNull. See MFA Providers.
What to Expect
When the app is released, it will be a third MFA provider alongside Duo and Okta:
- No external service - choose AuthNull Authenticator on the MFA Provider page; there are no credentials to enter.
- Invites from the console - administrators send each user an invite (Users → ⋯ → Register device), by email or as a link and QR code the user scans with the app.
- Several phones per user - pushes go to every registered phone, and the first answer wins.
- Console sign-in from the app - users can also approve sign-ins to the AuthNull console.
This page will be updated with installation and enrolment steps when the app is available.
